Celtic Festival

Last weekend, the Celtic Festival took place around the centre of Colwyn Bay.

The festival involved many organisations working together; it was supported Colwyn Bay Townscape Heritage Initiative, Colwyn Bay Town Council, Conwy County Borough Council, Bay Life, TAPE Community Music and Film, Communities First and Welsh Government.

Celtic crafts were on offer where kids could create a painting of a dragon, music and stand up acts played to crowds, free film screenings took place in various locations, there were stalls offering crafts, gifts and food, and people were able to catch some Gaelic football and attend a Ceilidh on the Saturday evening!
