ArtMuse & MAST – 24 Station Road

The very first tenants of the Pop Up Shop, at 24 Station Road, recently finished their tenure.

ArtMuse is the brainchild of Chrissy Smith, and is her first venture as a trader. Chrissy is a knitter, and has developed this love of wool into a thriving business where people can pick up their wool and receive lessons to improve their knitting skills. Chrissy champions heritage crafts and has started to make connections with Welsh farmers to be able to work with rare Welsh breed wool.

MAST is a collective of artists who have come together to make the most of the trading opportunity. During their time in the shop, they held classes in the shop’s dedicated workshop space, and sold a variety of handmade items, art and crafts.

Both tenants had a successful time in the shop, with the MAST artists able to take feedback from the shop to improve their businesses, and Chrissy Smith from ArtMuse will be staying in the shop to further develop her business.
